Forum posting is a privilege and the Carleton Square condominium Association. (“CS”) reserves the right to suspend or terminate any person’s ability to post on the forums or to access certain forums for any reason.

Forum users must agree to these Forum Rules before using the forum. Please note that no set of rules can be comprehensive, and inappropriate behavior not specifically covered by these rules may also result in suspension or termination of posting privileges.

Forum users are also bound by any Terms of Service established by CS that are not included here. For example, e-mail abuses may result in termination of forum privileges.

1. You agree to not post, upload, email, transmit, distribute, or otherwise promote any material that is obscene, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, threatening, vulgar, harassing, or otherwise illegal. This includes (but is not limited to) any use of material which constitutes a violation of any third party’s copyrights or trademark, patent, or trade secret rights. This also includes threats of violence, obscene language, swearing, and inappropriate references to body parts, anatomy, and bodily functions.
2. You agree to not post, upload, email, transmit, distribute, or otherwise promote any material that promotes racial or ethnic hatred, or which is recognized as a racial or ethnic slur, or which contains or promotes a symbol or depiction of racial or ethnic hatred. The term “ethnic” includes nationality and country of origin, or implied country of origin.
3. You agree to not post, refer to, upload, email, transmit, distribute, or otherwise promote any material that refers to sexual violence, or sexuality-based violence, or violence aimed at a specific gender or sexual orientation, and you agree especially to not threaten other members with such, either directly or indirectly.
4. You agree to not post, upload, email, transmit, distribute, link to, or otherwise promote cheats, hacks, viruses, Trojan Horses, or any kind of malicious program.
5. You agree to not post, upload, email, transmit, distribute, link to, or otherwise promote language that negatively portray major religions, religious figures, or religious texts.
6. You agree to not post, upload, email, transmit, distribute, link to, or otherwise promote illegal drugs or other illegal activities.
7. You agree to not post, upload, email, transmit, distribute, link to, or otherwise promote commercial services, products, websites, and other material unrelated to Perpetual and its affiliated companies, products and services. (E.g. no commercial spam, no junk mail, no chain letters).
8. You agree to not post, upload, email, transmit, distribute, or otherwise promote excessively repetitive material (e.g. no spamming), or the creation of forum threads or topics for the purpose of causing a disturbance, or the “hijacking” of threads or topics with irrelevant and/or inflammatory remarks, or of excessive belligerence that disturbs forum discussion (e.g. no trolling).
9. You agree to not post, upload, email, transmit, distribute, or otherwise promote material of excessive size. Please keep signatures and posts and images to a reasonable size.
10. You agree to never, in any circumstance, impersonate an board member or porperty manager (or employee of the property manager) of CS and/or knowingly post false information related to CS and/or its services.
11. You agree to not post, upload, email, or otherwise participate in or promote behavior that constitutes ongoing harassment or stalking.
12. You agree to not use or abuse any CS services for the purpose of invading another person’s privacy, or of violating their legal rights.
13. You agree to not post, upload, email, or otherwise participate in behaviors, or promote material, that violates or attempts to violate another person’s privacy or their legal rights.
14. You agree to not post, upload, email, or otherwise participate in discussions regarding disciplinary actions taken by CS against a member or members.
15. You are solely responsible for the content of your posts, messages, emails, and linking. Although CS does not review and does not edit every message posted by you on the forums, and is not responsible for the content of these messages, Perpetual reserves the right to delete, move, or edit messages that it, in its sole discretion, deems to be in violation of any of these forum rules and regulations.

To report abusive, inappropriate or disruptive behavior within the community forums please send an email to admin@carletonsquare.org. When reporting abusive behavior please include your screen name along with the screen name of the person performing the abusive or inappropriate behavior with a description of the issue.
