President April 26th, 2007
Monday May 14 @5:30 is the next Board of Directors meeting which will be held on the Grounds at Carleton Square. We will be meeting at the large field and will be conducting a walk through of the area for spring cleanup.
We will be identifying each unit and any deficiencies (such as items improperly stored) as well as any landscape items that need attention.
If you would like to join us or have an issue for the board, please meet us or contact us at bod@carletonsquare.org prior to the meeting. If you can get us your concern/issue by Friday, May 11th we can add it to our agenda for the Monday meeting.

As we are unable to have a confirmed quorum for the April 9th board meeting, we have canceled the April Board of Directors meeting. The next meeting (scheduled for May 14th) will be at Carleton Square for the annual spring walk through.

With the recent incident here at Carleton Square (Police shooting near Turnagin Elementary), some of our members would again like to have our neighborhood setup as a Neighborhood Crime Watch Zone as we also had a break in to one of the Phase II homes along the park.
From what we can gather, it seems to be a pretty simple process: 50% participation and a meeting/presentation by the Neighborhood Watch Staff.
Simply, if we can generate enough interest, we think it would be a good thing for us to do, considering our excitement lately.
In the 14 years she has lived here, one of our members has helped the police directly catch 2 criminals, just by walking and being observant. This person, as well as others, have helped people in our association by ringing their doorbell and telling them their garage door was open, and so forth.
It’s those simple things that can make a difference in keeping our association the pleasant place we all know it to be.
President January 9th, 2007
At the January 8th meeting, we had our required 51% and so we now have our new 2007 Board of Directors:
We do have a vacancy for the board. If you have an interest in assisting your association, please let us know by contacting us or Gaylen Gransbury at Pacific Rim Properties. We would love to have your input.
